Health care Debt Collection

November 25th, 2010
Debt collection from patients is a very tedious process for doctors. A unique combination of sensitivity, skill and discipline is required in Health care debt collection. Patients acquiring health care insurance also not paying their debt properly. Insurance companies pay the bill amount to the patients directly, which is not come into the notice of the health care institutions. To increase the internal billing collections following tactics can be followed by the healthcare institutions:
·        Post the procedure of the terms of payment in the front office. This helps the new patients to understand the expected upfront and co-pays.
·        Collect the accurate information from the patients. Name of the patient, date of birth, occupation, address, home, work and mobile phone numbers
·        Enquire the patient about their insurance coverage. If they already taken the insurance policy enquire clearly about the point of coverage.
·        If the patient has the difficulty in paying the billing amount and is uninsured or under insured, installment payment can be introduced. This is one of the positive approaches for easy cash flow.

In the patient’s application clearly specify failure in payment of bill will be taken severe steps and if the collection is handed over to the collection agencies the collection amount will be bared by the patients.

Windows 7 has no backdoor

November 23rd, 2010

Earlier this week, an official of the NSA, Richard Schaeffer, told the subcommittee of the Senate Homeland Security and Terrorism that they had worked closely with Microsoft during the development of Windows 7, helping to improve the safety of the new Windows. But, as it would be if a legion of people were worried about the fact that the NSA have helped Microsoft, it was clear to everyone that she wants to watch everyone, and undoubtedly had left a backdoor into the system. Finally, conspiracy theories are always welcome to make us laugh with the desperation of others. The problem is that it took slightly larger than the small group of freetards of Viva la Resistance and Microsoft was forced to speak publicly about the case and explain: Windows has not and will never have back doors, the participation of NSA in the development of Windows 7 was related only to the Security Compliance Management Toolkit. Said Microsoft spokesman I doubt there is a backdoor in Windows 7 after all, has been scientifically proven to be much more efficient to send emails like this: Hi Peter, Wow, I’m even embarrassed, but look at our pictures in the Hotel Safe Pawn: Fotos.exe The kit was launched in October and is available here .

Dealing with Judgments and Liens:

November 21st, 2010

If the lawsuit does not remedy the debt, the creditor will be granted a Judgment. That judgment can then be attached to anything from your bank account to your home. A judgment and lien are legal tools to garner compensation for money owed. In some states they can also garnish your wages. Judgments and Liens are like rattlesnakes in tall grass. You will probably step on one when you least expect it. Judgments and Liens can be negotiated like any other debt.

In Learning How to Predict and Prevent a Financial TrainWreck

November 20th, 2010

the 1980’s and ‘90’s, Mr. Emmert’s job was to analyze the financial structure of troubled businesses. One account had over 20 car dealerships in it. The flagship of all his dealerships was his pride and joy. After several weeks of indecision Jim reported to the dealership’s general manager that the dealership would go belly-up at a certain date in the future. To say the general manager was angry wouldn’t adequately describe his tirade. He sputtered and shrieked and finally threw Jim out of his office.
He called the dealership’s owner. He called Jim’s boss and demanded that he be fired. However, the company declared bankruptcy within 10-days of his projection. From then on, Mr. Emmert was known as the guy who could predict financial train wrecks.
Often, upon his arrival, the prospective client would grab him by the sleeve and whisper, “Just tell me about the train wreck.” Jim was certainly no psychic, but the financial assessment numbers would reveal that . . .
• Whether or not a financial train wreck was in their future.
• When the train wreck would happen,
• How bad the train wreck would be, and usually…
• Who was responsible.

The amazing result of these findings was that it always gave the business owner the confidence that he could head it off.

Corporate Layoff

November 19th, 2010

The Dallas Morning News recently reported that wealthy people were approaching the Suburb Aid Services for help. The lady who ran the service said they were asking for $4-8,000 a month to pay their bills. They listed cable TV at $92 a month, mortgage payments of $3,000 a month and multiple car payments averaging $399 a month. She told them that the normal aid check was only $3-400 a month. They had used up their severance pay and depleted their savings after being fired from jobs paying $120-175,000.
How much you make is not the issue. If you are living from paycheck to paycheck, you are a walking catastrophe waiting to happen. Such was the case with Thomas. He attended his companies annual meeting with great anticipation, because he was expecting a large production bonus. Instead, he received a dismissal pink slip.
Overwhelmed with depression and debt, months passed with no job offers. Bill collectors were constantly harassing his family and he had no idea what to do. Here are some settlement samples that got Thomas back on the road to recovery.
